Hey! You’re all irritated by the freezing in the US version aren’t you?
Well I’ve found an solution by making an Japanese rom which contains all of the OFFICIAL dialogs, menu’s, Pokémon names etc, etc…!

First of all let me point out this…

1. IM NOT RYKIN OR RAQIB12 OR FRIEND WITH THEM!
2. I’VE NOT HELPED THEM MAKE POKéMON PLATINUM!
3. ALL OF THE CREDITS GO TO THEM FOR MAKING THE BASE OF THIS PATCH

Rykin came up with the idea to translate the JP rom with the official USA version’s language files, and I thought: “Well that can’t be to hard, I’m trying it!” Well people, the answer

No$GBA 2.6: Works, but freezes in-game so save a lot!
R4 SDHC: Works! There is 1 report freezing after 3 hours (with YSmenu)
R4i-Gold v.1.31b: Works!

DSTT official: Don’t use YSmenu on the DSTT. then it should be fine

=============How to patch *MUST READ*=============
[spoiler]NOTE: Use a clean, unpatched ROM’s only or else it would mess up the ROM! (<–Also counts for 1.5 & 2.0B)[/spoiler]

1- Download the Japanese rom from Romulation.net

2- Put the three different files you just listed and the rom you just downloaded together in one folder.

3- Open xDelta Gui.exe (Ignore the other xdelta)

4- Where it says “CHOOSE PATCH”, choose the file called “.patch”

5- Where it says “CHOOSE ROM”, choose the Heartgold or soulsilver rom

6- Click apply patch

7- Wait a bit (within a minute unless you have a really slow computer) and you’ll see a new file named
“Heartgold_patched.nds” or “Soulsilver_patched.nds”

8- Play and enjoy!

I have been browsing some sites like Yahoo Answers and WikiAnswer, and it seems a lot of people out there cannot find a decent site to grab their ROMS from. Thats why i have written this post, so lolC’s visitors  know where to get quality ROMs without a catch.
My fave ROM site would have to be RomUlation. It is a user friendly site with helpful forums and an easy search function (that you can even add to your browser), Aswell and member benefits like high speed downloads.

Another good site is RomNation. Easy to use and navigate, as well as the helpful forums they also have an Emu section for the many emulators needed to run their roms.

My final choice for a great ROM site is DopeRoms. A simple site which delivers on good quality ROMs and emulators, As well as a cheats section DopeRoms can cater for your hungry littler emu.

With all the hype about emulators and roms its hard to find the right emu for your pc, thats why ive compiled the top 3 emus for easy and rich gameplay.

iDeaS Emulator

New emulator development found for the NDS. Its called IDeaS which the symbolic of Ideas and DS. The second best  emu so far.

This emulator has a bright future.

DeSmuME Emulator

DeSmuME is a new Nintendo DS emulator by YopYop.
Emulates pretty well Meteos’s demo but there is a small problem with the mouse. It is called DeSmuME which i guess comes from merging DS EMU and ME. Emulator is progressing very fast and many commercial NDS roms can be booted on it.

DualiS

A simple yet fast emu that has emu to emu connectivity for all you pokemon traders out there.

Fast loading but requires you tinker with the settings a bit first.
